Guardian Ray Smart EXP with reliable external Pancake probe, represents an unprecedented revolution for this category of professional Geiger counters. Thanks to the use of so-called technology: Internet of Things”, (IOT) today it also works in mode “online”, being able to publish the radioactivity data detected in the Cloud in real time. For those who don't know, per “Internet of Things” refers to the devices, instruments, installations, system, machines and tools that can be interconnected to the network and exchange information through it.

Guardian Ray Smart 7317 EXP, can connect to the internet to send radioactivity measurements in real time to our free Cloud.

In the specific case we are referring to the possibility of connecting our instrument via its integrated WiFi module to any local network and also to the internet. Once this is connected to the network it will be possible to automatically update the system date and time and above all upload the radioactivity data to the Clouds made available by the manufacturer or even owned by the customer himself.

What are cloud servers and how are they used.

In practice they are web servers that acquire and make data available via the internet. In particular, our clouds have been specifically programmed for the acquisition of radioactivity data that are transmitted online from our Geiger counters and also for their publication in almost real time on specific web pages.. For example, thanks to these characteristics it would be possible to use our Geiger counter also as a real control unit for the constant monitoring of radioactivity levels.
