The design of the new edition of Guardian Ray Smart 7317 with Pancake probe took our company over a year of hard work. This particular Geiger counter was born from ingenuity and typical Italian creativity, and represents the natural evolution of the old series ” Plus”.

Thanks to the use of so-called technology: Internet of Things”, (IOT) it could become “online” with full rights. For those who don't know, per “Internet of Things” refers to the devices, instruments, installations, system, machines and tools that can be interconnected to the network and exchange information through it. These devices are essentially the basis of the Internet of Things and are also defined as smart objects.

In the specific case we are referring to the possibility of connecting our instrument via its integrated WiFi module to any local network and also to the internet. In practice they are web servers which in this specific case have been programmed to acquire the data on radioactivity sent to the network by our instruments and for their automatic publication in real time on specific web pages.. For example, it would be possible to use our Geiger counter also as a real control unit for the constant monitoring of radioactivity levels.
